Fragrance Free Zones

Please do not wear perfumes, cologne or heavy scents if you work in a facility, are visiting or transporting patients.  Imagine you are being served a meal by a waitress who has on perfume, or you are feeling nauseated.  A scent may make you feel even sicker or give you an immediate headache.  When caring for patients, we are touching, serving, feeding and escorting them.  They are a “captive” in their own environment.  Please understand and respect that a lot of people have scent allergies, especially the fragile patients who cannot tell us.
