People who have a form of dementia may present behavioral challenges, demanding that everyone living or working with them make changes. The person who has the disease is not able to make these changes. Understanding that an entirely new way of thinking and responding has to be learned is one of the hardest lessons for caregivers.Creating dementia friendly environments is not an easy task, but with the help of this training we aspire to help you to understand the many faces of dementia and to always treat a person who has a form of dementia with respect and dignity.
